It also detoxifies heavy metals in tap water. The formula of API TAP WATER CONDITIONER incredibly concentrated. You only need up to 1 ml to treat 10 gallons of water. It's safe for all aquatic life and can be used in both fresh and salt water. Use during aquarium set up, water changes and adding fish.

Use when setting up an aquarium, and when adding or changing water. Use dosing cap on bottle. To remove chlorine and detoxify heavy metals: Add 1mL for each 10 U.S. gallons (38L) of tap water to be added to the aquarium. To detoxify chloramines: Add 5mL for each 30 U.S. gallons (114L) of tap water. Tip: heavy metals, such as copper, lead, and zinc, can be found in most tap water supplies. These metals are toxic to tropical fish. So treat the aquarium when adding tap water.
