Get your pond off to the best start with API POND STRESS COAT, API POND SALT and API POND MASTER TEST KIT. API POND STRESS COAT Pond Water Conditioner works instantly to remove chlorine, chloramines and ammonia from tap water and neutralize heavy metals. With the healing power of aloe vera, API POND STRESS COAT forms a synthetic slime coating and replaces the natural secretion of slime that is interrupted by handling, shipping, fish fighting and other forms of stress. Use this pond dechlorinator solution when adding or changing freshwater pond water, when you add new fish to your pond, and when your fish are damaged by injury or disease. API POND SALT supplies electrolytes to improve fish respiration. A lack of electrolytes in pond may cause serious health problems for fish. Made from evaporated sea water and containing natural active ingredients such as a natural fish tonic, API POND SALT promotes the overall health of your fish by improving their gill function and reducing stress in a pond. Use API POND SALT when setting up a new pond, when changing water or treating disease. Make sure to take extra care when using salt with live plants, as some plants may be sensitive. The API POND MASTER TEST KIT Pond Water Test Kit provides everything you need for regular testing of your pond water for pH, ammonia, nitrite and phosphate to maintain ideal water condition. Inside the kit you’ll find six bottles of liquid test solutions, several laminated color-matching charts, four glass test tubes with snap-tight caps, a holding tray and an easy-to-follow instruction booklet. Use API POND MASTER TEST KIT Pond Water Test Kit weekly.

POND STRESS COAT: Use dosing cap on bottle. When adding water to the pond, add 15 ml (1 Tbsp.) per 60 U.S. gallons (228 L) of pond water, or ½ cup (120 ml) for each 480 U.S. gallons (1,820 L). In areas of known elevated chlorine levels, double the dose for added fish protection. When introducing fish to the pond and if using for healing purposes, double the recommended dose. POND MASTER TEST KIT: Follow the instructional booklet directions for individual testing of each water parameter, and test weekly for best results. POND SALT: For ponds with plants, add 1 ¼ cups of POND SALT for each 100 U.S. gallons of pond water (or 100 g for 100 L of pond water). For ponds without plants, add 2 cups of POND SALT for each 100 U.S. gallons of pond water (or 200 g for 100 L of pond water). For disease treatment, short-term salt baths are beneficial to kill external parasites and treat fungal infections. In a plastic container, dissolve 2 ½ cups of POND SALT in 10 U.S. gallons of pond water (or 200 g for 10 L of pond water). Do not use in tap water. Carefully place infected fish in the salt bath for 5-10 minutes, but do not leave fish in salt bath for longer than 10 minutes. Return fish to pond afterward, and repeat treatment if needed after 24 hours.Note: once added to the pond, POND SALT does not evaporate and is not filtered out. So, add additional POND SALT with each water change. The addition of POND SALT is not recommended when topping off due to evaporation.
