API POND AMMO-LOCK Pond Water Ammonia Detoxifier

API POND AMMO-LOCK Pond Water Ammonia Detoxifier detoxifies ammonia and neutralizes other toxic chemicals in tap water and ornamental ponds to make it safe for fish. This ammonia detoxifying solution removes chlorine and chloramines from tap water, and detoxifies ammonia continually produced in the pond by waste matter. API POND AMMO-LOCK locks up ammonia, converting it into a form that not only is nontoxic to aquatic life, but serves as a source of nutrition for nitrifying pond bacteria in the biological filter. This solution works instantly to eliminate ammonia stress and promote healthy gill function of pond fish.

Add ¼ cup (60 ml) for each 240 U.S. gallons (908 L) of pond water, or 1 cup (240 ml) for each 960 U.S. gallons (3,634 L). Although ammonia test kits will show positive results for ammonia when using ammo lock, the ammonia is in a non-toxic form. AMMO LOCK will hold the ammonia in a non-toxic form until converted to non-toxic compounds by the natural activity of the pond filtration system.
