When using tap water to set up a marine aquarium, when adding or handling fish, changing water, or to promote healthy skin & fins, use API MARINE STRESS COAT. To promote healthy skin & fins, use dosing cap on bottle to add 10 ml per 10 gallons (38 L) of aquarium water. To remove chlorine, chloramines, and ammonia, add 5 ml per 10 gallons (38 L) of aquarium water. Tips: most artificial salt mixes do not remove tap water disinfectants, like chlorine and chloramines. To ensure all tap water disinfectants are removed, use STRESS COAT when making partial water changes or when topping off the tank with fresh water. Major and minor elements found in natural seawater are essential to marine aquariums. Over time, these elements are depleted by natural aquarium processes. To ensure trace element availability, add this product on a weekly basis.
